aspect. The thin furrows terminate 2/3 distance to pole. Eucalyptus (family Myrtaceae) is very similar but distinguished by furrows which broaden and unite at the ends to form a central triangle. Rhamnus (Buckthorn), smaller and rounder than Frangula (Alder Buckthorn).

• Let op combinatie van vorm, aperturen en oppervlak in zowel pool- als equatoriaal aanzicht.
• Vergelijk met look-a-like pagina's bij twijfel in gemengde monsters.
• Gebruik lokale flora en bloeitijd als context voor typebepaling.
